Conscious Roots co-creates evenings of music and connection in Boulder, Colorado with artists who share musical magic. Our aim is to support music with a conscious message to uplift the world and our communities.

Inclusivity is one of Conscious Roots core values as we want everyone to feel welcomed to participate in our events. Many people have issues with not feeling like they are enough or that they are accepted or invited in. Conscious Roots aims to create feel good moments for all through ultimate inclusivity. One example of this is that we offer scholarships (lower priced tickets) for our higher priced events for those with lower budgets.

Diversity and Equity is another pillar of Conscious Roots. We invite musicians of many different ethnicities to share their music as part of our events. We also aim to have women represented equally overall in all of the events that we produce. And if some are more male focused, we then lead with ones that are more female focused, so as not to perpetuate the male domination of both music and the music industry.

We put on small to large scale events, mainly in Boulder, Colorado, and reach a deep network of conscious minded folks, including an email list of almost 1000 subscribers who have purchased tickets to a Conscious Roots show. These folks are exactly the kind of people who would feel aligned with supporting Joy's Kitchen.

Conscious Roots has the ability to promote Joy's Kitchen to our audience (through events, our newsletter, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram) as well as create revenue by adding $1 to each ticket for Joy's Kitchen and re-allocating the 5% Boulder Admissions Tax to Joy's.

Joy's has the ability to promote our shows to their extensive audience in the Colorado region.

Conscious Roots' responsibilities:
- To incorporate Joy's Kitchen in the revenue of the show (if possible) via $1 from every ticket sold and/or the re-allocation of the 5% Boulder Admissions Tax
- To promote Joy's Kitchen within all of of the promotions for any events they participate in (through our newsletter, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram)
- To give Joy's Kitchen the ability to share some word from the stage with the Conscious Roots audience

Joy's Kitchen's responsibilities:
- To promote Conscious Roots to the Joy's Kitchen community
- To promote the specific shows in which Joy's Kitchen is being featured with the Joy's Kitchen community and volunteers
